These terms of trade govern the sale and supply of goods by ‘Mobility People’ to you, and may be amended from time to time.

Acceptance  No contract shall exist between you and ‘Mobility People’ until ‘Mobility People’ has confirmed the receipt and acceptance of your order. ‘Mobility People’ is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods or the order appearing on the web site or catalogue, or because of unavailability of the goods.

Deliveries   ‘Mobility People’ aim to deliver the goods within 7 to 10 days from receipt of order. Delivery times quoted are estimates, based on availability, normal processing and your location. Title to the goods will pass to you on payment in full. Risk will pass to you on delivery. Goods may be despatched by courier or by post, depending on size or value. ‘Mobility People’ will contact you to agree the Delivery date.
In addition to normal delivery service, ‘Mobility People’ offer: Large item delivery, for bulky or heavy items into your premises; and Premium delivery service, for timed delivery, followed by an engineer’s visit, who will assemble and fully explain the use of the product.
Goods damaged in transit must be notified within 24 hours of receipt.

Guarantee & Returns  If you are not satisfied with the supplied goods, you can return them to ‘Mobility People’ for an exchange or refund within 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods. The product you wish to return must be in a saleable condition in its original, undamaged packaging. ‘Mobility People’ will consider the overall condition of the returned product when making a refund. (This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods.) You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. ‘Mobility People’ can arrange the collection from you at your cost.

Cancellation  Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days of delivery. This period starts after the day of receipt of the goods. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification and items which by their nature cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. ‘Mobility People’ requires written confirmation of any cancellations.

Refunds  Subject to the above conditions, refunds will be made within 28 days of receipt of the returned product. Delivery and return charges will be deducted from the invoice price.

Substitutions and Withdrawal  If a manufacturer changes specifications, ‘Mobility People’ will offer a substitute of equal or better quality at the same price. The right to withdraw any product at any time is reserved.

Invalidity of Terms and Conditions  If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected. Contracts between you and ‘Mobility People’ shall be governed by English law and all disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
